If anyone is looking for a Christmas stocking stuffer for the political junkie in their family, I thought I would post a little note here to say that my collection of political cartoons is still available through online seller Lulu.com. If you're one of the types who are hesistant about online purchases, drop me a line. There are a few copies stocked at home, available for sale, although supplies are quite limited.

Toon River:
Political cartoons from Miramichi, N.B., 2003-2005

Toon River features 120 cartoons by Miramichi-born cartoonist Ian R. Ross, selected from his collection of political cartoons published between May of 2002 and February 2005 in the Miramichi Leader and Miramichi Weekend newspapers.

From hospital-cut protests and labour strikes, to auto insurance and government cutbacks, there are plenty of jibes and ribbings at local Miramichi and New Brunswick politics, as well as the culture of the river.
