So I have technically survived my first year in business. St. Patrick's Day was also my one-year anniversary of getting my business license. I celebrated by working, getting some corned beef and cabbage at the Old Town Diner, then working some more. Most of the year-end chores are done now. I just sent my records to my accountant for tax season and to figure out any HST remmitance. All my websites were coming up for renewal also, since I had renewed them just before I left Korea. As a bit of announcement, I've opted to kill off www.sci-fi.ca as far as hosting goes. For anyone that had use of the pages there (mostly my Mechwarrior clanmates): just substitute sci-fi.ca with latenight.ca and you will find the files intact on this sever.

As for www.mysteries.ca, I don't know exactly what the story is there. My original host disappeared but left the pages intact and working for most of last year. The parent company (?) of that host contacted me after about 3 or 4 months of unbilled hosting, to say they were going to cancel it if I didn't renew. Since it seemed a bit more permanent, and comparably priced to my other host, I renwed but now it seems the site is down. Tech support said they had a failure and would be reloading it from their back up but that's been a week. SO if you are a member of the forum there, hold your horsetails and it should come back up eventually.

And I finally watched the Incredibles last night. What a great movie.

March

Looks like we called the weather with this cover that began arriving just as Miramichi was pelted with 20cms of snow and blowing snow. Main stories this month include the Living Waters Catholic Prayer House and a story on the possible reemergence of the Eastern Cougar.
